Privacy Policy
How AdmitPath collects, uses, and protects your data. We never sell your information.
1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email, and authentication identifier (via Clerk). When you build a profile, we store the academic and extracurricular details you provide. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment method — we never see or store full card numbers.
2. How we use it
Your profile data is used to generate your AI analysis, essay feedback, and college matches. It is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. Aggregated and anonymized usage data may be used to improve the product.
3. AI model providers
We send your profile context to large language model providers (Cerebras and Groq) to generate analyses, feedback, and counselor responses. These providers process the request and return a result — they do not retain prompts for training under our contractual terms with them.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use first-party cookies for authentication (Clerk session) and Stripe checkout. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Your rights
You can export, edit, or delete your profile data at any time from /settings. To request full account deletion, email maestro.committee@gmail.com — we will remove your records within 30 days.
6. Children
AdmitPath is intended for high school students aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, do not create an account.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date below will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribed users.
